Cabin & Typewriter

Years ago, in the fall of my second year of college, I bought a used manual typewriter from the president of the college. It was not a dinosaur. Typewriters were still a thing. I had never heard of a personal computer.

The next fall, I was living in an off-grid log cabin in the woods. A remote writer’s dream. But I was a young man distracted by adventure.

I do not know where that typewriter now rests.
